Two minds on every lesson.

A lesson is only as good as the focus around it. So we put two people on it.

By Pebble House

Most tutoring is one person and one screen. The teacher explains, the student listens, the hour ends, and the real work, the part where understanding actually forms, happens later and alone.

Pebble House does it differently. The lesson is taught live by a native British teacher from our partner IWS Online School, to Cambridge standards. That much is familiar. What is not familiar is the second mind in the room.

The mentor in the building

A Pebble House mentor is on hand throughout. During the lesson they are quietly available if a question comes up. The moment the lesson ends, they step in to guide the independent study that turns a lesson watched into a lesson learned.

The mentor is the difference between a lesson watched and a lesson learned.

No other place in Bucharest teaches this way. It is the reason a Pebble House hour is worth more than the hour itself.
